Our Retired Dogs

Wow! It's sure hard to rehome dogs.
Steve and I hate doing it, but sometimes we find it necessary
for the good of the dog and for our overall goals for our breeding program.

While we love all of our dogs and they are ALL cherished family members,
when a person chooses to become a breeder, it is a necessary heartbreak to have
to eventually retire some of your breeding dogs. Sometimes we feel it will make our dogs
happier to be in a wonderful pet home, where they can sleep in bed with their new owners

and have lots of undivided attention. The true beauty of this breed
is that they really do love everyone and will bloom where they are planted.

While it does make it easier for us, knowing they will be happy in their new great pet homes,
it still hurts never the less to let them go.
Some of our dogs have stayed here as cherished and spoiled 'couch 'taters'
and some have gone on to great loving pet homes.
